About Me:

I currently work in a lab that focuses on blood clotting at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I finished my Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Kansas.👩🏻‍🔬. I work in a research lab🔬🧪🦠🧬. I enjoy science and research and talking about it. Outside lab, I enjoy traveling, doing fun things with my husband, catching up with my friends, and boba!

My Work:

For my Postdoc- I am working on understanding basic processes for cardiovascular diseases

I worked with Bacteria for my Ph.D.! My research focuses on understanding factors important for Chlamydia growth and eventually its disease-causing ability.
My Typical Day:

Every day is different! But mostly my I go to the lab, work on my experiments and other science-y stuff! In the evenings I catch up with my friends and my family!
What I'd do with the prize money:

I am not sure- but do I enjoy science and talking about science and different science fields- so maybe like a science informational venture with one of the organizations, I’m involved with!
